Horizontal

Loneliness hollows you out, crumbling foundation, tiny creatures within, nuisance!

You gaze up

At your former world

Glimmering moonlight

Swaying forest

Majestic trees sing

In eerie unison

Saccharine songs

Of  joy

You don’t know

the words

You never did

Panoramic view

Of pretentious power

Forced through

A kaleidoscope

Fallen to the leafy floor, insects gnaw into your soul, unrecognizable pain, rotting to rebirth

You smile a secret smile: You are……..stronger……..being……..horizontal……..than vertical!
